Saturday 22nd April - walk *** Landguard circuit - Foggy early, then sunny clouded over late afternoon.

What a great day, woke early and saw the thick fog so decided to head down to the pier to take a few pics to send to the local TV weather arriving at the seafront by 6. The fog was pretty thick and the winds were light so I decided to drive down to the Ferry where the River Deben was like a mill pool and another photographer was already there taking pics. I got a few photos, mainly of the reflections of the boats on the water before heading for home, stopping quickly at the clifftop car park for some beach hut shots. The fog then cleared and we were treated to a lovely warm, sunny spell after a late breakfast I did my exercises in the back garden while Mag brushed the cats, they loved it, then did loads of gardening. Lunch in the garden and we had to go to Lidl but decided to head to Landguard Nature Reserve for a walk just as the sun disappeared and I should have put my fleece on as we did a circuit. Loads of rabbits including several young ones plus the usual wheatears, Linnets and Partridges just a bit chilly now. A quick trip round Lidl and home for a warming cuppa:)
